The property is located in Borghetto di Borbera, a municipality in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) southeast of Turin and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of Alessandria. The Borbera is a large 38 km long stream in Piedmont, the main right tributary of the Scrivia river, which flows entirely in the Province of Alessandria in the valley of the same name.
